How Much Can Someone Appreciate Their Team? A Lot.

Seven months ago, I joined RootstockCollective, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with that decision. It’s rare to find yourself in a role where the work, the people, and the mission align so naturally, but somehow, that’s exactly what happened.

This past week, I spent two days in Barcelona with three incredible individuals: Tamara Lerner, Eleanor Gaywood, and Sascha Götz. We weren’t just “doing a team retreat”; we were setting the foundation for what RootstockCollective will look like until March 2026. Big goals, clear priorities, and a shared vision for where we’re headed.

Of course, it wasn’t just work. We laughed, we connected, we ate (a lot), we had drinks, and we built memories that go far beyond Slack threads and Meet calls. That balance of hard work and genuine human connection is what makes this team so special.

The work ethic is unmatched, the effectiveness is inspiring, and the vibes? Simply unmatched. Everything just clicks. And when it clicks, you can feel it. You know you’re part of something that has real potential to influence an industry and, hopefully, make things better for the world.

I’m genuinely so proud of this team and the progress we’ve already made in such a short time. More importantly, I can’t wait to see where we’ll be in 2026 and the impact we’ll leave behind.

To anyone reading this: no fluff, no BS - I sincerely wish you get to experience working with a team like this at least once in your career. It changes everything.
