From Team Member to Team Leader

REMOTE WORK

Seven months ago, I joined RootstockCollective as a Community Manager. I was excited, curious, and ready to learn. Fast forward to today, and I’ve reached a milestone that feels both surreal and deeply rewarding: I now have my own team.

I recently hired two amazing ambassadors, one from Argentina and one from Venezuela. For me, this is huge. It’s not just about recruiting talent; it’s about expanding our reach, our voice, and our ability to create meaningful connections across continents. Latin America has always been such a vibrant and powerful hub for web3, and having ambassadors from Argentina and Venezuela feels like the perfect step to root our work more deeply within those communities.

Hiring them wasn’t just a checkbox moment; it was personal. I wanted to bring in people who are not only skilled but also genuinely passionate about what RootstockCollective stands for: community, collaboration, and decentralization. Seeing their excitement to join, their ideas, and the unique perspectives they’re bringing already makes me feel proud.

This moment marks a shift for me. Up until now, I’ve been part of a team I admire and love working with. Now, I also get to build and lead. I get to be the one who sets the tone, creates opportunities, and empowers others to shine. And honestly? That’s an incredible feeling.

Community doesn’t grow on its own - it’s built by people. People who care, who put in the work, who want to see change. And now, with these two ambassadors, I know we’re adding even more strength and diversity to our Collective.

It’s a small but powerful reminder that growth is not only about personal progress, it’s about lifting others up and multiplying impact. I’m grateful, I’m motivated, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together.
