ETHGlobal Taipei 2025

I just returned from Taiwan after an incredible weekend at ETHGlobal Taipei with RootstockLabs, and I’m still buzzing from the experience.

The numbers alone tell a powerful story: 560 hackers from 43 countries, 216 submissions, 50 intense hours, and 17 projects developed on Rootstock. But beyond the stats, what stood out to me was the energy - the curiosity, creativity, and sheer determination of builders who believe in shaping the future of Bitcoin’s most trusted Layer 2.

It’s one thing to talk about innovation; it’s another to watch it unfold in real time. I had the chance to see so many fresh, exciting projects come to life, each one adding a new perspective to what’s possible on Rootstock. I can’t wait to see how these ideas evolve and grow in the months ahead.

A special shoutout goes to my RootstockLabs colleagues Antonio Pancorbo, Isidro Vega, and Rohith Biju. Working alongside such sharp, passionate professionals was honestly one of the highlights of the trip, proof that the right people can make any challenge feel energizing.
