A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of coordinating the Hellenic AIESEC Development Conference, a flagship event held twice a year by AIESEC in Greece. The goal of the conference is simple yet powerful: to empower members through learning, connection, and networking with peers and companies.
Walking back into a space like this always feels a little surreal. Having been an active member of AIESEC for five years, I know firsthand how transformative this youth-led organization can be. To return now, years later, and support its mission from a different role, whether through mentoring, knowledge sharing, or coordinating initiatives like this conference, felt like a full-circle moment.
What struck me most was the energy of the participants. Their curiosity, their drive, and their willingness to challenge themselves reminded me of why organizations like AIESEC matter. They create environments where young people don’t just learn skills, they discover who they can become.
I’m deeply grateful to the national team for trusting me with such a significant responsibility, and to every participant who made the conference meaningful. Giving back to a community that has given me so much will always feel less like work and more like a privilege.
